Drop in, bring your own subject / questions or use my reference photo. Join us every week for a casual and inspiring watercolour group where artists of all levels come together to explore the magic of watercolours. Whether you're a seasoned painter or just starting out, this drop-in session is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of watercolours.

• Open to All Skill Levels: From beginners to experienced artists, everyone is welcome! The grpup is a good choice if you need personal approach and want to build your skills step by step.
• Flexible Schedule: Drop in whenever it suits you. No commitment required - just come as you are, materials are included!
• Guidance and Support: Our experience tutor is here to offer insights, tips, and encouragement.
• Reference Photos Available: Bring your own idea or choose from our curated selection of reference photos for inspiration.

What to expect?

We will meet at 11:00 at the location. After a brief introduction, we will find the best spot to set up. I will then demonstrate the painting process in a few steps (typically 2-3). During this demonstration, you are welcome to ask questions, and I will explain the key details. After each step, you will have time to work on your own piece. I will circulate among the group, providing individual assistance and answering any questions. Feel free to bring a snack and take breaks whenever you like. We will conclude the class at 15:00, but you are welcome to stay longer to enjoy the views, chat, or create another sketch.

FAQ

What if I can't join the workshop that I bought a ticket for?

If you can't join, please let me know as soon as possible. There may be a waiting list, and others need time to be informed and prepare. Additionally, the studio relies on making rent to continue operating.

- 10 days before the event: The ticket can be refunded or transferred to another event.
- 24 hours before the event: The ticket can be transferred to another event.
- Less than 24 hours before the event: The ticket can't be refunded or transferred anymore.

I'm a complete beginner - can I still join?

Absolutely. All my classes are suitable for artists of all levels. I work with everyone individually, providing personalised feedback to help you with any challenges you may be facing. If you're feeling stressed about joining the class, please let me know. Occasionally, I hold a 'complete beginner' class that may not be published yet. We can also arrange a free 30-minute introductory session or organise a private lesson.

Are the workshops for adults or children?

All our courses are designed for anyone aged 16 and up, unless it's mentioned otherwise in the description.

I booked plein-air workshop. What if it rains?

If it rains, we will move to the Akvarell Atelier studio or reschedule the workshop. You will receive a refund if the new date does not suit you.

Do I need to bring materials?

You can choose option with or without materials. Renting materials for the workshop costs 100kr. The full list can be found here. You can also purchase a Watercolour Starter Kit with all needed materials at the atelier for 1350kr. (Limited number, please contact to book)
