Paint a Winter Landscape: Watercolour Workshop

Join us for a peaceful watercolour workshop inspired by quiet winter scenes. Together, we’ll paint a serene winter landscape featuring snow-covered trees and a still lake. You’ll learn how to suggest natural conifers, soft winter light, and cool seasonal colours while keeping your painting loose and atmospheric. This workshop is suitable for beginners and improvers and is a lovely way to explore winter landscapes in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Workshop Highlights:

❄️ Paint a Winter Scene: Create a calm winter landscape with trees, snow, and a frozen or still lake.
🌲 Learn to Paint Natural Conifers: Practise simple, effective brush techniques for evergreen trees.
🖌 Suggest Snow & Light: Learn easy ways to imply snow and winter atmosphere without over-detailing.
🏞 Build Confidence with Landscapes: Develop skills you can reuse in future winter and nature paintings.
🖼 Take Home Your Artwork: Finish with a peaceful winter landscape painting to keep or gift.

Whether you're a beginner or have experience with watercolours, this workshop will inspire and guide you.

What's the agenda?

During the workshops, I share the most important techniques that we need to focus on the subject. I make a demonstration of the painting process in a few steps (typically 2-3). During this demonstration, you are welcome to ask questions, and I will explain the key details. After each step, you will have time to work on your own piece. I will circulate among the group, providing individual assistance and answering any questions.

What if I can't join the workshop that I bought a ticket for?

If you can't join, please let me know as soon as possible. There may be a waiting list, and others need time to be informed and prepare. Additionally, the studio relies on making rent to continue operating.

- 10 days before the event: The ticket can be refunded or transferred to another event.
- 24 hours before the event: The ticket can be transferred to another event.
- Less than 24 hours before the event: The ticket can't be refunded or transferred anymore.

I'm a complete beginner - can I still join?

Absolutely. All my classes are suitable for artists of all levels. I work with everyone individually, providing personalised feedback to help you with any challenges you may be facing. If you're feeling stressed about joining the class, please let me know. Occasionally, I hold a 'complete beginner' class that may not be published yet. We can also arrange a free 30-minute introductory session or organise a private lesson.

In what language is the workshop?

The workshops are held mainly in English, but I also speak Norwegian at a B1 level and native Polish, so we can communicate in either of those languages.

Are the workshops for adults or children?

All our courses are designed for anyone aged 16 and up, unless it's mentioned otherwise in the description.

Who's the teacher?

During the workshops you will be guided by Kasia Wiercinska - experienced tutor professionally trained in watercolour art. You can read more about her background on the About page or check her portfolio at www.KasiaWiercinska.com
