Watercolour for Mothers & Babies

Join us for a relaxed and creative morning designed especially for mothers who would love to paint and do something for themselves while spending time with their babies.

Led by local artists Kasia and Dee in collaboration with Ines from The Village Oslo, this is a chance to do something for yourself while staying close to your little one. Paint at your own pace, reconnect with your creativity, and enjoy a mindful moment in a supportive community of mothers.

Whether your baby is on a blanket beside you, in a carrier, on your lap, or your toddler is happily exploring and painting alongside you, you are welcome exactly as you are.

During the session, we’ll create beautiful floral gift cards using watercolor. We’ll demonstrate several simple flower patterns and techniques, and then you’ll be free to explore them while creating your own unique cards. No experience needed, we’ll be there to guide and support you whenever needed, helping you leave feeling relaxed, accomplished, and proud of what you’ve created.

What to expect:

Meet the organiser

Inés Khiari Millán

Inés Khiari Millán is the founder of The Village Oslo, a community created to support mothers through pregnancy, postpartum and early motherhood/matrescence. FAQ

What if I can't join the workshop that I bought a ticket for?

We understand that life is crazy with little ones on board, so don't stress if you can't make it to the session :) We would just appreciate if you let us know as soon as possible, because there may be a waiting list, so someone can join in your place instead.

Here is our cancellation policy for this event:
- more than 7 days before the event: The ticket can be refunded or transferred to another event at www.Akvarell Atelier.com.
- less than 7 days before the event: The ticket can be transferred to another event at www.Akvarell Atelier.com.

I'm a complete beginner - can I still join?

Absolutely! We are waiting for you and will be happy to help you along the way :)

In what language is the workshop?

The workshops are held mainly in English, but the organisors speak also Norwegian, Polish and Spanish, so we can communicate in either of those languages.

Who is the workshop for?

The session is designed especially for mothers who would love to paint and do something for themselves while spending time with their babies.

What if I need to take a break to feed my little one or change a diaper?

No problem at all! We made the session 2 hours long to make that you can still enjoy some creative time even if you need to leave for a while. We want to keep a relaxing and calm atmosphere and make sure everyone can feel free and paint in their own pace.

Do I need to bring materials?

All painting supplies are included so you don't need to take anything with you. Just take whatever you need to make yourself comfortable - maybe a small blanket, a snack or baby carrier :)
